• When can bank use existing production keys?

  If the bank is already live on EMV and coming for RuPay Contactless with same switch, then they can use the existing Production keys.

• What is expiry date for Production keys?

  Within 90 days the bank need to complete production activity after key generation.

• Terminal Request is production required?

  If new bank production is required and if proceeding with same Acquirer id/ PID-Settlement production is not required.

• Do the Keys expire?

  Keys, once used in the production movement, will never expire. However once the keys are issued, bank should go live in production within the prescribed TAT of 90 days; if not done, the bank needs to procure new set of keys from NPCI.

• Can we re-initiate a terminated request

  No, bank need to raise a new request with a new C-flow id - while selecting the same Product and Scope (may use Cloning option)
